Camp Acceleration provides students the opportunity to explore, engage, and connect with cross-age level peers. The content of each one-two-week adventure prioritizes high-interest topics, meaningful exploration, and engaging connections. Acceleration of inquiry standards, science, and engineering practices, as well as mathematical practices, will provide students experiences to deepen their foundational learning skills and mindsets. This opportunity will be available for all students.

The ESY program is offered to students on an individual basis if a child’s IEP team determined that services were necessary. ESY is defined as special education and related services intended to prevent skill regression that are provided to a child with a disability beyond the normal school year in accordance with the child’s IEP and at no cost to parents. Additional time will be dedicated to Social Emotional Learning.

Yorkville Transition Program offers an Extended School Year for all students who receive services at our 602 Center Parkway campus. Extended School Year provides an opportunity to continue their education to ensure they maintain critical skills and objectives represented in their IEPS in transition and related services. Students will access a modified version of our curriculum to focus on goal growth and mastery in their current courses; daily living, Independent Living, Vocational, Self Determination, and Community-Based Instruction, and Recreation.
