I am very excited to be the Assistant Principal of Circle Center Grade School. I couldn’t be more excited to move into this roll and to be a part of the amazing team of teachers, students, and parents here at Circle Center. I am looking forward to getting to know the families at Circle Center and working with them and the teachers to help all students grow and learn. 
 
I have spent my professional career growing here in Yorkville. I began in the district as a 5th grade teacher. I taught 5th grade for four years. After teaching I was the Assistant Principal at Yorkville Intermediate School. Most recently I have spent the past eight years as the Principal at Yorkville Grade School. I really enjoy getting to know all of the students and learning what they are working on in their classrooms and out of school. 
 
I am originally from Aurora and attended school K-12 in the West Aurora school district. I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Valparaiso University. While teaching I went back to school to earn my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis. 

Currently I live in Yorkville with my husband Brandon and our two daughters. Lily is a kindergarten student here at CCGS this year and Harper is 3 and in pre-school. We love spending time with family both locally and in Northern Wisconsin. When I am not at school I love to spend time with my family and children. We are always on the go! I also love to cook and bake whenever I can.
