shamm@y115.orgShannon Hamm has served Circle Center Grade School as its principal since 2019.
During her educational career, Dr. Hamm has served as a teacher in grades 1-3, a co-principal at Saratoga CCSD 60C in Morris, and an assistant principal at Troy CCSD 30-C in Shorewood at a school that serves students in preschool through grade four. Her administrative experience includes grant writing and curriculum development for early childhood students.
Dr. Hamm models and believes in being a lifelong learner. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education from Lewis University, a Master’s degree in teaching and leadership from Saint Xavier University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. After obtaining her Doctorate degree, Dr. Hamm went on to earn her ED. Superintendent degree, which is an advanced degree with a Superintendent Endorsement. Dr. Hamm holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in administration, and she is a National Board Certified Teacher specializing in early education.
