TODAY is PORTRAIT DAY! Be sure you are ready for your yearbook portrait and review the order form handed out to you in Advisory last week. Seniors who were already photographed this summer do NOT need to take a portrait. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Calder at kcalder@y115.org.

 

 Do you like trivia? Do you like competition? Then join Scholastic Bowl!  Scholastic Bowl will meet every Tuesday and Thursday starting Tuesday, October 22 in room 229A.

 

 Any girl interested in trying out for girls basketball there is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday October 23rd at the start of Flex in the large group instruction room to go over tryout information. If you cannot make it you need to talk to Coach Wensits prior to the meeting.

 

If you are interested in trying out for girls basketball and you are at the Academy at the end of Advisory,  go to the front entrance of the Academy and wait with Coach Yager who will walk you over to the main campus. If you cannot make it, you need to talk to Coach Wensits or Coach Yager prior to the meeting. 

 

 Attention medical club members! The next Medical Club meeting is Tuesday, October 22 from 2:45 -3:15 pm in Room 2002 at YHS. Hope to see you there!

  

Are you interested in becoming a YHS cheerleader? Join us for tryouts for the winter competitive season after school on Monday, October 28th and Tuesday, October 29th from 3:00-6:00 pm in the YHSA gym. Please pick up a tryout information packet in the main office for more information! 

  

Attention all students interested in joining the boys bowling team - tryouts are held from Monday, October 28th through Wednesday, October 30th at Pinz in Yorkville from 3:00-4:30 PM. Please contact Coach Sims if you have any questions.
